Breaking Murphy’s Law is a story about a Wounded Warrior Marine who saves the world. He finds love along the way and has a few laughs too. But it’s not a Romcom. I don’t like the word ‘ Romcom.’ I think if you’re going to mash up words, you should use the first half of the first word and the second half of the second word. So a romantic comedy would be a romedy. “”There’s no Remedy for a bad Romedy.”” Or it could be a comedic romance or Comance. “”No second chance in a bad Comance.”” Which one sounds better? But what if there’s Drama in it as well? Should it be a Dromedance? I guarantee there are no dancing dromedaries in this story. There aren’t any camels at all.
