This book is the first of its kind for me. My first four books, three of which were novels Ralphie, The Long Road Home, and The Second Universe, and a short story collection, Happiness Hope Death and Despair, fit the conventional mold. This book is a little different. Not knowing why I have gravitated toward it, everything I write these days tends to be either a novella or a short story. This book features both. Dark Either Way is the story of what could and probably will go wrong with our world someday. Some self-important scientist will someday mess with something he shouldn’t have and there you have it. “”Ghost Climb””, the short story I included is more of what would happen if all of the sudden you had some responsibility so monumentally placed on your shoulders, that you were pretty sure you wouldn’t be able to handle it.
