The wait for marriage seems all so time taxing. One might be tempted to doubt the ability of God to make it all come to pass. To the christian maiden, she may ask herself, “”When will I get married? Who will I Marry? How long do I have to wait until I do? How will I know when I have met the one I am suppose to marry?”” And to these questions I have one answer, wait on the Lord, He will guide you. I am a married woman now, but I remember the wait. I remember reading about a woman in the bible whose name was Hadassah who later became Queen of Persia. (Book of Esther KJV) I remember how she and other maidens had to wait a year to prepare themselves before they were chosen for marriage to the King. And the one who was prepared was the one maiden that was chosen. As I lived and waited on the Lord it seemed like everyone around me were getting married, and I would ask the Lord, “”What about me? Don’t forget me Father. I’m still here waiting. When will it be my turn?”” The wait seemed unbearable. So, finally I decided to go on faith. I had no clue who I was suppose to marry, but I began planning my wedding as if I already had a fiance. That is what this book is for. It is for you to prepare for your future wedding as you wait on the Lord. God will bring your groom. And you will already have your wedding planned and budgeted and covered in your prayers for God to make it happen. Wait on the Lord, even so just trust in His plan. And it will come to pass. P.s.
