One day they hear an interview on NPR between Scott Detrow and Conservative Christian Russell Moore about his book, Losing Our Religion, and the couple’s reaction to that interview begins this entire story. They decide to create a podcast to discuss how Jesus actually did such things for which Liberals advocate, like feeding the poor, welcoming the stranger, loving one another, not being judgmental toward others. Each week there is a podcast and because this is fictional, many famous and also unknown people visit. Real information is shared through fictional discussions and readers will be surprised. All sorts of people speak with Anthony and Sophia, who readers will grow to love. The couple’s personal storyline is a running thread to which readers will relate. The ending is uplifting as the couple fights for Hope’s future. The last Chapter is, “”Marching into the Future with Hope.”” The topics covered in this book are relevant to women, immigrants, and many others. It is somewhat biographical, so some Chapters were personally sensitive to write, but the author’s goal is to reach out to others.
